Agostino Bruzzone organized a GLOOM Session (Game On Logistics Organization and Management) during lectures on Advanced Models Industrial Logistics with Alessio Simari, Logistics Director at Coseva and Genoa University students.
During the Industrial Logistics lecture, both challenges and critical issues on Logistics Services for different business sectors (i.e.retail, production) have been presented and discussed.
After the lecture, the students and the Logistics Director interacted in a Role Play Game simulating the decision making processes for a distribution center design; this was organized as a multiplayer game among engineering students (playing the role of consultants), while Alessio Simari was acting as user and subject matter expert.
