MIPET: Experience on Process Plant Safety Design, Operative Module on Standards & Regulation

The MIPET Students completed successfully EXPLOSAD (Experience on Process Plant Safety Design) as final test of the Operative Module on Standards & Regulations.
In fact, EXPLOSAD is an experience referring to applying criteria for Safety and Security in a Real Case Study: a Plant for Power Generation using Biomasses.
EXPLOSAD focuses on Fire and Explosions and provides plant drawing and requirements to identify and design the proper solution for facing these risks in compliance with new regulations and most advanced theories in safety engineering.
EXPLOSAD experience is proposed after a week on the Standards & Regulation Operative Module of MIPET (Master in Industrial Plant Engineering & Technologies); this module provides to MIPET class and external attendees foundations and elements to faces plant engineering problems and challenges taking care of up-to-date standards and regulations.
EXPLOSAD is dynamically and interactively driven by experts with long experience in the sector that interact with the attendees.
This edition of EXPLOSAD has been developed as a Simulation Team Joint Cooperation among Ferruccio Cerruti (ETEA Director ), Agostino G. Bruzzone (M&S Net Director), Alberto Tremori (ST MISS DIPTEM Genoa Center Technology Transfer Responsible), F.Madeo (ST MISS DIPETM Genoa) & E.Bocca (M&S Responsible MAST).
