The Meeting "Industrial Plant Business Sector Meets with Young Engineers & Engineering Students" was successfully held in Villa Cambiaso (Genoa – Italy), February 24th, 2012. The event was a great success considering that over 100 people were present in the conference room and that many young engineers, students and new graduates have the opportunity to complete Campus Interview with Industries; in fact some of the organizing companies completed over 50 interviews and several pretty interesting profiles were identified just based on a preliminary feedback. In fact the event resulted to be the most successful Engineers/Industries Meeting organized since 2012 at least in term of attendance of young resources. Therefore this initiative represents a significant innovation respect previous activities and its new formula resulted to be pretty effective; the day was in fact a great opportunity to bring together Companies and Young Engineers on a common point of interest. Obviously the success was strongly based on the efforts and actions carried out by all the Partners. This event was supported by several MIPET Sponsors (i.e.ABB, Bombardier, Duferco, Paul Wurth, Tenova, Danieli, Fisia, PMS, Prisma Impianti) as well as by other industries (i.e. Piaggio Aero & DUPONT); obviously this meeting was just indirectly connected to the Master in Industrial Plant Engineering & Technologies, considering that the main goal was devoted to identify job opportunities; therefore it is evident the synergy emerging in this business sector among these initiatives.
